Are you curious and driven by finding faults and defects through technical testing methods? As a testing engineer, you inspect objects and pressurized equipment at customer sites using methods such as X-ray and ultrasound. By inspecting things we cannot see with the naked eye, you can help contribute to a safer society! About the role: In your role as a testing engineer, you will spend most of your time at customer sites performing various types of testing assignments. Your work includes performing visual inspections, ultrasonic testing, X-ray testing, and leak testing. By using these various testing methods, we can test and inspect objects for things we cannot see with the naked eye and help our customers identify damage at an early stage to prevent potential costly failures. During a work week, you will come into contact with several different objects such as pressure vessels, cisterns, pipelines, and turbines. For this role, we see that you already hold qualifications as a testing engineer. The position is based in Skövde where daily travel and travel with overnight stays occur. Do you have what it takes? Are you a technically interested problem solver who is also communicative and takes responsibility? Do you find it exciting to use advanced methods to find hidden faults and defects? You have: Technical upper secondary education or engineering degree or equivalent Experience with testing methods An interest in technology and people Class B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written For this role, we would prefer that you already have qualifications in testing, or alternatively experience with one of the testing methods.
