About the role:
In your role as a testing engineer, you either work on-site at customer locations performing inspections or take samples for analysis in one of Kiwa's laboratories. You work with recurring inspections or preventive maintenance to measure the status and health of objects and their critical components and equipment. Your work includes performing visual inspections, ultrasound testing, X-ray testing, and leak testing. By using these different testing methods, we can test and inspect objects for things we cannot see with the naked eye and help customers identify damage early to prevent potential costly failures. During a work week, you will come into contact with several different types of objects such as pressure vessels, cisterns, pipelines, and turbines.
For this role, we see that you already hold the qualifications of a testing engineer. The position is based in Karlstad where daily travel and overnight trips occur.
Do you have what it takes?
Are you a technically interested problem solver who is also communicative and takes responsibility? Do you find it exciting to use advanced methods to find hidden defects and shortcomings? Then this is the right role for you!
You have:
Technical gymnasium education or equivalent higher education engineer or equivalent
An interest in technology and people
Class B driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish and English both spoken and written
For this role, we would like you to already have testing qualifications or experience with one of the testing methods.
