1 position(s). Would you like to lead the implementation of infrastructure in a brand new district? Landvetter Södra is one of Sweden's most ambitious urban development initiatives. Here we are planning a new sustainable district with residential areas, workplaces, services, schools, sports facilities, parks and public spaces. The development involves extensive investments in streets, public spaces and technical infrastructure – both within the area and in the surrounding traffic system. We are now seeking a senior project manager who will play a central role in taking Landvetter Södra from planning to implementation. Your Assignment As senior project manager, you are responsible for leading and driving the planning, design and implementation of Landvetter Södra's public spaces and major infrastructure projects. The assignment encompasses a combined project volume of approximately 1.5–2 billion kronor and spans from early technical investigations and pre-design to construction documents, procurement, production and handover. You will work with, among other things: streets, squares, parks, facilities and systems for stormwater and cloudburst management and other public spaces preparation of block land for transfer and construction new access roads and connections to Landvetter Södra, traffic and infrastructure measures in and around Gamla Landvetter, and other major technical facilities required for the area's development You are responsible for driving the projects toward established goals regarding function, quality, sustainability, economy and time. An important part of the role is to see the big picture and create a feasible development sequence where technical systems, exploitation and construction of blocks work together. You are the client's representative and are responsible for procurement and management of technical consultants, as well as participate in and lead procurement of contracts. You lead the design organization and monitor projects through the implementation phase. The assignment also includes financial management, budgeting and forecasting, scheduling, risk management and reporting to governing bodies. You will work closely with, among others, the municipality's expertise in traffic, water and sewage, land and exploitation, planning, as well as external project managers and contractors. On several matters, you will also collaborate with, for example, Trafikverket and other authorities and utility owners. Landvetter Södra has high ambitions within sustainability and design. For us, a successful implementation therefore means not only that the facilities are built on time and within budget. The technical solutions should also contribute to the urban and living environment we want to create. Who are we looking for? – Requirements for the Position We are seeking an experienced and driven project manager with solid experience in major land, infrastructure and construction projects, from early technical decisions and pre-design, through design and procurement, to production, completion and handover. You need to be able to combine technical understanding with strong project management and commercial judgment. In Landvetter Södra, many projects will run in parallel and be dependent on each other. You therefore need to be able to see the bigger picture, identify critical dependencies and translate an overall development strategy into feasible projects, contracts and schedules. We are looking for someone who has: a degree in civil engineering in roads and water/civil engineering, a degree in construction engineering or other education that we consider equivalent, and at least ten years of relevant experience in land, road, traffic, infrastructure or construction projects documented experience in a leading role driving large and complex projects from design to implementation documented experience in the client role and in leading a program or multiple parallel investment projects with interdependent technical, financial and time-related aspects, as well as multidisciplinary consultant and design organizations good knowledge of and experience with procurement and management of large contracts experience with financial management of large investment projects, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management and management of complex projects with multiple dependencies It is meritorious if you have experience with large urban development or exploitation projects where development of public spaces and technical infrastructure has been coordinated with property development, as well as experience in translating high sustainability and design ambitions into technical requirements and feasible solutions. Experience with municipal or other public client organizations and procurement according to LOU, as well as experience with major road and traffic projects and collaboration with Trafikverket, is also meritorious. You create structure in complex projects, identify critical issues in time and drive them to decision. You need to be clear and demanding when required, but also responsive and solution-oriented. You are coming in at a stage where planning is successively transitioning into implementation, and you thus have the opportunity to help build both the projects and the forms for how the upcoming development will be conducted. We believe that you are motivated by seeing results grow – from drawings and design to completed results. In this recruitment, we do not accept personal letters.
