Senior Project Manager

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a senior project manager for depot and facility projects. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start 2026-09-01 and run through 2027-09-01. About the Assignment We are now seeking a senior project manager for a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients. In this role, you will represent the operations' interests in comprehensive depot and facility projects and contribute to the development of future infrastructure. This is an assignment for you who thrives in complex project environments, has a strong client perspective, and is skilled at coordinating many different stakeholders. As a project manager, you will act as the client representative in projects where new vehicle depots are built and existing depots are developed or refurbished. The projects are driven by an external project organization, while you are responsible for ensuring that the operations' needs are addressed throughout the entire project. You will be an important link between the operations and the project organization and work to create alignment, drive issues forward, and ensure that the right decisions are made based on the operations' needs. Your Main Responsibilities Represent the operations' needs in major construction and facility projects. Ensure internal alignment and coordination between different operational functions. Follow up on project finances, risks, timelines, and progress from a client perspective. Contribute requirements and priorities in dialogue with the project organization. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in the development of modern depot and operational facilities for public transport. Start: 2026-09-01 End: 2027-09-01 Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week Location: Gothenburg (opportunity for 50% hybrid work) Employment Type: Employed by Devotum as the client does not accept subcontractors in this process. About You We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements: Hold relevant higher education or university degree in, for example, civil engineering, construction, real estate, technology, or project management. Have at least five years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a client role in construction or real estate projects. Have experience with large projects involving many internal and external stakeholders. Are accustomed to representing the operations' or client's perspective in complex projects. Communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Are structured, self-driven, and have a talent for creating alignment between different parties. It is advantageous if you also meet the following requirements: Depots, workshops, terminals, or other business-critical facilities. Client or operations representative in projects driven by another organization. Public sector or politically governed organizations. Requirements setting within operations, maintenance, occupational health, and safety. Collaboration projects where multiple organizations share responsibility for financing and implementation.
