Do you want a key technical responsibility in a Linux and platform environment where you not only work with operations, but also help shape how the platform develops, is managed, and is automated over time?
We are now looking for a Senior Linux Specialist who wants to take clear ownership of parts of the infrastructure and actively contribute to both the technical direction and development of working methods within Linux, Kubernetes, and automation.
About the Position
As a Senior Linux Specialist in Kubernetes & Automation, you will have a central role in managing and further developing a Linux-based platform with high demands for stability, security, and long-term sustainability. You work close to the infrastructure, but also close to decisions, improvement initiatives, and technical choices. The role involves significant personal responsibility and a clear mandate to influence both technical solutions and how work is conducted.
You are expected to function as a technical reference person in the team and contribute to structure, quality, and maturity in both the platform and processes. The work is conducted in close collaboration with developers, operations, security, and other technical functions.
As a Senior Linux Specialist, you are responsible for, among other things:
Taking technical responsibility for operations, management, and further development of Linux-based infrastructure
Managing and further developing Kubernetes environments from a stability, security, and lifecycle perspective
Developing, standardizing, and improving automation and configuration management
Establishing and further developing approaches to Infrastructure as Code and Git-based workflows
Contributing to and driving technical improvement and modernization initiatives
Working proactively with troubleshooting, capacity planning, and stabilizing platform environments
Supporting the team with technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and best practices
Collaborating across functions and contributing to clear interfaces between operations, development, and platform
Are you the right fit?
To succeed in this role, you have solid experience with Linux and have worked several years in environments where stable operations, structure, and quality are critical. You are confident with Kubernetes and have practical experience with automation and configuration management, such as with Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent tools. You have worked according to Git-based workflows and are accustomed to taking responsibility for technical solutions over time.
You have a good overall view of platform and infrastructure and thrive in a role where you are expected to take initiative, make technical decisions, and contribute to the development of both technology and working methods. You work in a structured manner, are analytical, and have a high quality awareness.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools, scripting, cloud services, Windows environments, or networking is considered advantageous, but the focus is on your ability to take technical responsibility and drive development.
