About the Position
This is a role for you who want to combine broad legal expertise in business law and at the same time strengthen Rödl's growing Legal Advisory team. As Senior Legal Counsel, you work with qualified business law advice to Swedish and international clients. You take independent responsibility for complex matters from analysis to implementation, and work closely with colleagues in tax, audit, and accounting to provide clients with comprehensive solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
Advice on corporate law and commercial contract law
Review, negotiation, and drafting of commercial agreements
Legal support in national and cross-border business matters
Advice on corporate acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions
Support to international clients in establishment, expansion, and business development
Mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior colleagues
Contribute to further developing the Legal Advisory offering
Qualifications and Attributes
You are a confident and business-oriented lawyer who builds trusting relationships and thrives in an advisory role. You combine legal expertise with a pragmatic approach and are motivated by creating value for clients in an international environment. You are unpretentious, communicative, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
In addition, you have:
Law degree
At least 10 years of experience as a corporate counsel, attorney, or government lawyer
Solid experience in business law, corporate law, and commercial agreements
Experience providing qualified advice in national and/or cross-border matters
Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
Meritorious experience:
Experience in M&A and corporate restructurings
Experience with international client relationships
Experience from law firm, international corporation, or audit and consulting firm
German language skills
