We are seeking an experienced IT technician for a long-term assignment with a government agency in Norrköping. The role suits you if you have broad background in IT infrastructure and deeper expertise in server, storage, and virtualization. About the Assignment Location: Norrköping Scope: Full-time Work Format: Work is primarily performed on-site at the customer location in Norrköping. Remote work may be possible depending on the task and by agreement. About the Role As an IT technician, you will work with operations, management, and development of server and storage environments. The work includes both daily operations and longer-term development and lifecycle management. Your Responsibilities Operations and management of services within the data center area Lifecycle management of hardware and software Troubleshooting and handling of complex operational disruptions Work with server, storage, and virtualization environments Development and documentation of operational plans and technical solutions Evaluation and implementation of new hardware and software Drive and coordinate technical assignments within the infrastructure area Contribute technical expertise and translate organizational needs into sustainable technical solutions Support and coordinate colleagues on technical matters Your Profile You have solid background in IT operations and infrastructure and are experienced working independently in complex IT environments. To be suitable for the role, we see that you have: At least 9 years of work experience in IT operations, for example as an operations technician, IT technician, or equivalent At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, for example server, storage, network, IT workplace, or application operations At least 2 years of experience with server and storage at the third-level support Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or equivalent Experience with solutions for autonomous environments Experience and relevant certification in public cloud platforms, for example Microsoft Azure Experience in project management or technical coordination of IT-related assignments Experience leading and coordinating work within a technical team Ability to create structure and see the technical overview in complex infrastructure environments It is an advantage if you also have: At least 5 years of experience operating and managing large server and storage environments Certification in VMware or equivalent virtualization platform Experience with HPE SimpliVity or equivalent solutions As a person, we believe you are solution-oriented, structured, and confident in your technical expertise.
