On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a senior Interim Chief for IT and digitalization. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start 2026-09-14 and run through 2027-01-31. About the Assignment For a comprehensive assignment in Gothenburg, we are seeking a senior Interim Chief for IT and digitalization. This role is ideal for you if you have solid experience leading large and complex operations, are accustomed to managing other managers, and have experience creating stability and momentum during organizational change. As interim chief, you will have overall responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment within a larger IT and digitalization business area. The operations are undergoing a transformation toward a more cohesive, agile, and product-oriented organization. Your assignment will be to ensure stability and continuity in ongoing operations while leading and supporting subordinate managers in the transition toward product management and new ways of working. You will, among other things: Lead, coordinate, and follow up on operations based on established goals, mandates, and financial frameworks. Ensure clear priorities, responsibility distribution, and follow-up. Lead through subordinate managers and create conditions for well-functioning management and leadership work. Lead and support managers in the transition toward product management and product-oriented ways of working. Contribute to establishing new roles, responsibilities, governance, and ways of working. Ensure quality, continuity, and delivery capability during the transition period. Participate in strategic management group work and relevant steering and collaboration forums. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and relevant support functions. Start: 2026-09-14 End: 2027-01-31 Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week. Location: Gothenburg About You We are seeking you who meet the following mandatory requirements: Have at least 10 years of documented management experience with personnel, operational, and budget responsibility. Have documented experience as a manager of other managers in a large and complex organization. Have at least 3 years of documented experience in a senior management role within IT, digitalization, or other technology-intensive operations. Have documented experience leading operations and maintaining governance, prioritization, and continuity during major change or transition periods. Have documented experience with strategic management group work and collaboration with multiple organizational stakeholders. Have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. Application Does the assignment sound interesting?
