About the Position As a Senior Buyer within Logistics Procurement, you will play a key role in the procurement organization with responsibility for strategic procurement of logistics services. You will be responsible for sourcing and supplier management within international transport and logistics solutions, and work closely with operations to ensure efficient and sustainable flows. In this role, you will develop and secure a competitive supplier base that contributes to the right balance between cost, quality, innovation, and sustainability. In your role as a buyer, your main responsibilities will include: Lead and drive strategic sourcing projects and negotiations within the logistics category Develop and implement category and supplier strategies in line with operational objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders Conduct market analyses and identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and sustainability improvements Negotiate, establish, and manage supplier agreements and contracts Work cross-functionally with logistics, production, and procurement teams to ensure efficient supply chains Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives This position is a full-time consulting assignment starting September 21, 2026 and running through September 20, 2027. About You We are looking for someone with solid experience in strategic procurement, supply chain, or logistics services who thrives in a global business environment. We would like you to have a university degree in a relevant field, such as procurement, logistics, economics, or equivalent. You have documented experience driving complex projects and negotiations, as well as a good understanding of commercial matters and supplier management. Experience with international supplier relationships is a prerequisite for success in this role. You are analytical and data-driven in your approach and have the ability to transform complex information into well-founded recommendations and decisions. Furthermore, you are structured, business-minded, and able to collaborate easily with different functions. You communicate fluently in English in both speech and writing and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with Coupa or similar procurement systems is a merit.
