About the role: As a Senior Hardware Designer, you will be responsible for developing electronics and PCBs for advanced Battery Management Systems for the company's battery products. You will work across the entire chain from requirements breakdown and architecture to schematic design, PCB layout, verification, and manufacturing documentation. In this role, you will collaborate closely with systems engineers, software engineers, cell experts, and suppliers to ensure robust, certifiable solutions. You will be part of the R&D Hardware team at the Battery Competence Center of an international company. The work is conducted 80% on-site, and business travel may be required depending on work location.
We are looking for you: You have several years of experience in circuit and PCBA design and are accustomed to working independently on complex development projects. You have previously designed BMS hardware with AFEs and MCUs, preferably with STM microcontrollers and Texas Instruments AFE circuits, and have at least two years of practical experience with OrCAD for both schematic and PCB design. You are confident in component selection, interface definition toward BMA, HW-SW interface, and preferably also in safety analysis such as FMEDA/MTTF. As a person, you are organized, collaboration-oriented, and naturally take responsibility for driving your area forward. Fluent English is required; Swedish language skills are a merit.
About the company: The company is an international industrial company with a dedicated Battery Competence Center that develops next-generation battery solutions for demanding applications.
