Shipit Sverige AB is the Swedish division of Shipit, a leading Finnish provider of transportation management systems (TMS). We bring together popular carriers under one roof and enable companies to manage and optimize their freight flows centrally through direct ERP and WMS integrations, ready-made e-commerce integrations, an open API, or our web-based user interface. Responsibilities As a developer with us, you will play a central role in the continued development of our logistics platform, with particular focus on backend and integrations with carriers and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, where Shipit has developed several apps over the past year. Your primary responsibilities include: Develop and maintain integrations with carriers such as PostNord, DHL Freight, DSV Road, Early Bird, Budbee, Instabox, CityMail, Asendia, FedEx, and UPS. Work with application architecture and the continued development of Shipit's API. Carry out ongoing improvements to our internal administration systems. Write thorough tests that catch real defects and edge cases, not just confirm that code works under ideal conditions. Contribute to clear and concise documentation that supports collaboration between teams and communication with customers. As Shipit continues to grow, it is likely that responsibilities may also include other initiatives where you can contribute to our development. We are Looking for You Have knowledge of modern PHP and experience with Laravel. Have experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL. Have experience with React and strong knowledge of HTML and CSS. Have knowledge of integrations with third-party APIs. Have knowledge of established development principles such as MVC, separation of concerns, and service-oriented application design. Have strong problem-solving skills and an independent, self-directed work style. Have excellent communication skills in both speech and writing, in Swedish and English. Finnish language skills are a plus. Meritorious for the Position Experience modernizing and scaling existing systems. Knowledge of UX/UI design principles. Experience with Domain-Driven Design. Experience building complex Livewire components. Experience integrating logistics carrier APIs. Experience with Go or Rust. Our Tech Stack Backend: PHP 8.5, Laravel 13, Go, Rust, MySQL 8.4, PostgreSQL, and Valkey. Frontend: React, Livewire 4, Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. We are open to developing the stack further, but prefer reliable and proven solutions over chasing the latest trends — stability, maintainability, and proven performance are paramount. AI is encouraged as support for research, exploration, and development, but never as a replacement for your own understanding: every delivered solution must be understood, evaluated, and fully owned by the person who delivers it. Our Offer Fixed monthly salary of at least 42,000 kr/month, depending on knowledge, experience, and level of responsibility.
