Are you driven to lead large-scale change initiatives and want to influence the development of health and social care? If so, here's an opportunity to lead the National Board of Health and Welfare's work to establish a new social data registry. About the position The National Board of Health and Welfare is leading the work to establish a new social data registry. This assignment is a major government mandate that involves many different parts of the agency. The work is long-term and an important part of the transition to a new social services act. The role involves leading the work to prepare for the development and implementation of the upcoming social data registry, working together with colleagues across the entire agency, municipalities, SKR, private service providers, and other relevant stakeholders. The work is characterized by multiple actors with different expertise and perspectives, many external target groups, and assignments that require a comprehensive understanding of an area, a shared vision, and methodology from a systems perspective. Work tasks include planning and monitoring subproject work and deliverables, conducting needs-driven analysis, leading groups and internal resources, coordinating work with other assignments and operations within the agency, collaborating with municipalities and national actors, developing project-related working methods, developing solutions, giving presentations, preparing various types of materials for steering committee meetings and other decision-making forums, and leading work meetings and workshops. You will also manage subproject managers, support subproject managers in their management and change leadership. About you To succeed in your role and thrive at the National Board of Health and Welfare, it is important that you have strong communication and collaboration skills. You need to be highly organized with the ability to plan and organize your own work and that of others well and in accordance with set deadlines. You need to be able to work with long-term and complex assignments. You have strong leadership qualities, can lead work groups, and prioritize both your own work and the group's work. You need to be able to move between the strategic level, for example in dialogue with key stakeholders about needs and goals, and the operational level, where you often need to be the one who makes things happen. You need to be able to work independently—take initiative and drive forward based on a given direction—and in collaboration with others to achieve results. You will be based at the office on Västerbroplan in Stockholm (from 2027 in newly renovated premises at Korta gatan 10 in Solna), but have the option to work remotely up to two days per week. Your job title will be E-Health Strategist and your placement will be in the Department of Health and Medical Care and Dentistry at the Systems Level, E-Health and Informatics Unit.
