Halmstad Steel Service Centre is now seeking an experienced and organized accountant who wants to become an important part of the accounting team in Halmstad. Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys responsibility, collaboration, and development in an international corporation? Do you have solid experience with monthly and annual financial statements as well as group reporting? Then this could be the perfect role for you! The Role As an accountant, you will work with: Monthly and annual financial statements, including ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, accruals, and analyses. Group reporting on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. External reporting to SCB and other authorities. Budget and ongoing forecast work. Development and streamlining of accounting processes. Other accounting department tasks as needed. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is self-driven, organized, and meticulous. You have a proactive work approach and are motivated by creating quality while identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: University education in accounting or equivalent competence deemed equivalent. Several years of experience with qualified accounting work with responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements. Experience with group reporting, preferably within an international corporation. Good experience working in various business systems. Very strong knowledge of Excel and other parts of the Office suite. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious Experience with SAP. Experience with budget and forecast work within larger operations.
