Senseworks is growing and we are now looking for a DevOps Engineer for our platform team. The team owns our goals for availability, security, and developer experience, and works independently to build, improve, and operate the technical platform that enables our product teams to deliver quickly, securely, and reliably.
About Senseworks
Senseworks was founded in 2019 and provides a world-leading analysis and audit platform as a SaaS service on the web. We make it easier for auditors, accounting consultants, and CFOs to collaborate, analyze data, and ensure that companies are run optimally.
Our customers range from SMEs to large international firms, and our platform is used for business-critical workflows where reliability, security, and performance are central.
About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer in our platform team, you will become a key person in the work of further developing our technical platform. The team is responsible for ensuring that our services are secure, robust, and easy to build upon, while creating a really good developer experience for our product teams.
You will work with everything from infrastructure, automation, and observability to deployment flows, security, compliance, and internal tools. The role suits you if you want to work close to product development but with a clear platform focus: creating the conditions for other teams to build and ship better software faster.
Your goals include:
Increasing availability, stability, and quality in our services.
Strengthening security in our infrastructure, deployment flows, and development processes.
Improving DevEx through better tools, automation, documentation, and internal platform services.
Automating development, operations, and deployment to create fast and reliable time-to-market.
Making our platform more scalable as the team, customer base, and number of services grow.
What You Will Do
In the role, you will be responsible, together with the platform team, for:
Owning and further developing our infrastructure platform and related automation.
Working with Infrastructure as Code and ensuring that our infrastructure is reproducible, secure, and easy to change.
Improving our CI/CD flows and deployment processes.
Building and maintaining internal platform tools that simplify the daily work of our developers.
Monitoring infrastructure and applications and working proactively with incident prevention improvements.
Working with observability, alerts, logging, and metrics related to availability and performance.
Ensuring that our systems, third-party products, and operated services maintain high standards for security and compliance.
Collaborating with other engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas in the development and operations environment.
Continuously evaluating new technologies, tools, and approaches that can improve our platform.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is driven, structured, and comfortable taking on significant technical responsibility. You have experience with modern DevOps, platform, or SRE-like approaches and enjoy building solutions that make other developers more efficient.
We believe you have experience in several of the following areas:
Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
Container-based environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
CI/CD, deployment automation, and release flows.
Observability, monitoring, logging, and incident management.
Security in cloud, infrastructure, and application environments.
Management of databases, queues, cache layers, or other platform components.
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or other databases for large data volumes.
RabbitMQ or other message queues.
Argo Workflows, Airflow, or similar orchestration solutions.
Redis.
Node.js and TypeScript.
SaaS platforms with high demands for availability, security, and compliance.
Working with DevEx, internal developer platforms, or platform engineering.
You Will Thrive Here If You
Want to work in a tight and competent team with a high degree of independence.
Enjoy taking responsibility for both technical decisions and long-term improvements.
Are motivated by building platforms that make other teams faster and more efficient.
Believe that security, availability, and developer experience are equally important parts of a modern SaaS platform.
Thrive in an environment where you have great influence over both working methods, technology choices, and priorities.
