We are now looking for you who want to become part of our competent Group Credit Department where you will be part of a professional and unpretentious team with long experience! About the role As a Senior Credit Analyst at Svea Bank's Group Credit Department, you will be part of a central function consisting of experienced and knowledgeable colleagues with extensive expertise, driven by a genuine interest in the credit area and contributing to Svea's continued business and growth. It is to your department that the business turns for support and guidance on complex and large credits, and you who set the structure for the business's credit operations. In your role as Senior Credit Analyst with us, you will primarily complement the part of the team that currently handles larger and more complex commitments, particularly for companies, but you will also work on group-wide credit-related issues within an international group. You will be involved in credit business all the way from customer meetings to decision-making. In some cases it is as expert support to different business areas and in other cases as the responsible analyst for individual commitments. This is a broad role where you get to contribute in many different types of business and products. Your work tasks include, among others: Where applicable, meet customers and clients and discuss appropriate financing arrangements Preparation of credits including qualitative assessment of customer and transaction Presentation of credit to the relevant decision-making body, i.e. credit committees and in some cases the board Participate in development and improvement work regarding decision support, valuation, policies and instructions and other group-wide matters Who are we looking for? In this role, we see you as analytically inclined, with a solution-oriented approach where you don't hesitate to tackle things where the solution isn't always served in the right format. Since you will have contact points with several different parts of the organization, it is important that you have a good ability to communicate in a pedagogical way, and are also responsive to and can interpret and understand the information you receive. We believe you are the one who can connect the small pieces and understand how the big picture looks and can be affected by these. You will work both strategically and operatively, and the role requires that you take initiative, can prioritize and work in a structured manner. At the same time, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to changed conditions and new needs. Since we are currently a small team, your personal qualities are important as we work closely together. You will have great opportunities to influence the daily work and you are expected to be self-driven in the tasks you work with but will of course have support from your team at all times. Experience and qualifications Many years of experience in credit provision and advice to companies Experience from more complex credit provision containing several different credit products and different types of collateral Very good understanding of the regulations and guidelines that govern credit provision About Svea Svea is a group with financial operations with over 2,000 employees in several European countries.
