Are you an experienced controller with strong expertise in financial management, business development, and system implementation? We are now seeking a Senior Controller for a comprehensive and mission-critical assignment at a major public sector organization in Stockholm!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine traditional controller work with a central role in implementing a new financial system and developing tomorrow's financial processes!
Your Role as Senior Controller
As Senior Controller, you will work broadly with budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and financial monitoring. At the same time, you will become a key person in a larger change initiative linked to the implementation of a new financial system planned for rollout.
You will lead sub-projects and contribute specialized expertise in requirements definition, testing, training, and development of decision support and BI solutions.
In the role, you will, among other things:
Manage budget, forecast, financial statements, and financial reporting.
Conduct financial analyses and prepare decision-making materials.
Lead sub-projects related to the implementation of the new financial system.
Gather, analyze, and formulate operational requirements related to financial processes and systems.
Participate in and drive testing activities during system implementations.
Contribute to change management and development of the finance function's working methods and processes.
We are looking for someone with:
Relevant academic degree in economics or equivalent.
At least 8 years of experience as a controller.
Experience driving and contributing to the development of financial processes, business management, and financial working methods.
Good system understanding and interest in digital development, decision support, and data analysis.
Experience collaborating with various stakeholders and driving initiatives in complex organizations.
Very strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
