Are you an experienced controller with strong expertise in financial management, business development, and system implementation? We're now looking for a Senior Controller for a comprehensive and mission-critical assignment at a major public sector organization in Stockholm!
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to combine traditional controller work with a central role in implementing a new financial system and developing future financial processes!
Your Role as Senior Controller
As Senior Controller, you will work broadly with budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and financial monitoring. At the same time, you'll become a key person in a larger change initiative linked to the implementation of a new financial system that is planned to be rolled out.
You will lead sub-projects and contribute specialist expertise in requirements gathering, testing, training, and the development of decision support tools and BI solutions.
In the role, you will, among other things:
Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and financial reporting.
Conduct financial analyses and prepare decision-making documents.
Lead sub-projects related to the implementation of the new financial system.
Gather, analyze, and formulate business requirements related to financial processes and systems.
Participate in and drive testing work during system implementations.
Contribute to change management and development of the finance function's working methods and processes.
We're looking for someone who has:
Relevant academic degree in economics or equivalent.
At least 8 years of experience as a controller.
Experience driving and contributing to the development of financial processes, business management, and financial working methods.
Good systems understanding and interest in digital development, decision support tools, and data analysis.
Experience collaborating with various stakeholders and driving issues in complex organizations.
Very strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
