We are looking for a senior controller who wants to drive and develop our work with financial management and operational monitoring of maintenance and civil preparedness activities. To succeed in our mission critical to society, we need to build 30 miles of power lines and commission 20 stations every year. About the Position As a senior controller in the Administrative Support unit within the Network Division, you are responsible for financial and operational reporting, forecasts, budget work, and monitoring and analyzing KPIs related to maintenance and civil preparedness. You work closely with section heads and contribute to data-driven decisions, efficient resource utilization, and business development. The role combines both strategic and operational work where you act as an advisor to managers by providing analyses that illuminate consequences and support well-founded decisions. The position will also include: • Lead and drive budget, forecast, and follow-up processes • Work in close collaboration with administrative economists and finance for coordinated planning and follow-up • Analyze outcomes, deviations, and cost drivers and propose measures • Conduct ad hoc analyses for business decisions • Contribute to change initiatives and further develop economic processes, routines, and governance documents • Ensure good quality in environments with multiple systems and data sources • Develop KPI structure, reporting, and follow-up related to maintenance • Create financial models, investment analyses, and decision support materials and present results in a pedagogical and clear manner • Act as an advisor and support managers in matters related to controlling, financial management, and governance As a senior controller, you will be part of the Administrative Support unit, which consists of just over ten employees. The group includes two administrative economists, a contracts administrator, an IT controller, and a unit manager. This position is an expansion of the group. You also have: • Multiple years of current and relevant experience working as a controller in a larger organization • Current experience with follow-up, analysis, reporting, and budget work • Experience creating and delivering presentations • Experience with scenario analyses and risk assessments • Strong ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English Meritorious Qualifications: • Experience in change management and business development • Experience from the energy sector • Experience with or cost control within maintenance or asset management • Experience working in organizations with high governance requirements • Experience working in larger ERP systems such as UBW/Unit4 • Advanced Excel skills Good to Know: • The position is located in Sundbyberg. • Possibility of remote work up to 50%, if the work allows. #LI-hybrid • Domestic travel occurs in this position. • This is a permanent employment.
