About the Role As a senior structural analysis engineer, you will work on technically complex projects where the focus is on analysis, simulation, and verification of structures and mechanical systems. The assignments vary depending on your experience, specialist skills, and ambition, but include strength calculations, FEM analyses, model building, result evaluation, and technical recommendations to design and development teams. You will work on assignments with high demands for quality, accuracy, and technical understanding. We are looking for someone who truly appreciates engineering and who would rather spend time on qualified engineering work than internal administration and unnecessary overhead. Your Background We are looking for someone with an academic degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, technical physics, or equivalent, and who has at least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM-based computational work. You are accustomed to working independently, understand the role of analysis in the development chain, and can translate theory into practical value in complex project environments. You have likely worked with structural strength, dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, or similar issues and feel confident building, conducting, and interpreting analyses. You thrive in technical environments where expertise is highly valued and where you can contribute with both specialist knowledge and judgment. Requirements Masters or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field At least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM Solid understanding of strength of materials and mechanics Experience working on technically advanced development projects Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility Good communication skills Professional proficiency in Swedish and/or English, both spoken and written Merits Experience from defense, automotive, aerospace, or other advanced industries Experience with tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, HyperMesh, LS-DYNA, or similar Knowledge in dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, crash, composites, or nonlinear analyses Programming experience in Python or Matlab Experience in consulting roles or customer-facing technical work Experience working in security-classified or regulatory-controlled environments What We Offer We offer you the opportunity to work on qualified assignments in technically strong environments where your expertise is central.
