On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a Senior Archivist. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-09-27 and run through 2028-02-26. About the Assignment Devotum is seeking an experienced archivist for an extended consulting engagement with a major public organization in Stockholm. This assignment is ideal for you if you have solid experience with analog archives and are accustomed to independently managing extensive archival work from structuring to finished material ready for delivery. You will be part of a larger archival project where extensive amounts of analog documents will be organized, cleaned, culled, cataloged, and prepared for delivery. The organization already has archivists and other specialists in archives, records management, and information management on staff. You will work in parallel with existing resources but will have significant independent responsibility for portions of the archival holdings and the entire process of preparing the material for delivery. The work includes, among other things: organizing and structuring analog archives cleaning and culling documents cataloging archival materials preparing material for archival delivery ensuring correct handling in accordance with applicable regulations dialogue with relevant parts of the organization independently planning and driving the work forward with a focus on quality and results Other: Prior to the start of the assignment, the selected consultant must be able to sign a confidentiality agreement. Start: 2026-09-27 End: 2028-02-26 with possibility of extension Scope: 100%, 40 hours per week Location: Stockholm Employment form: Employed by Devotum as the client does not accept subcontractors in this process. About You We are seeking candidates who meet the following mandatory requirements: University/higher education degree comprising at least 60 higher education credits in archival science, or equivalent according to older credit system. At least four years of professional experience organizing and cataloging archives. At least three years of documented work experience organizing and cataloging analog archives/paper archives. At least one year of professional experience with archival work within public administration, where the work included applying relevant laws and regulations within archives and information management. Experience from at least one assignment where you had independent responsibility for archival work, such as delivery preparations, archive structure, or similar.
