About the Role As a Senior Android Developer, you will play an important role in developing infotainment systems of the future. Your focus will include, among other things, adapting Android applications related to charging and vehicle status to a new vehicle platform with different screen sizes and orientations. You will work through the entire development cycle – from design and architecture to implementation, documentation, verification, and validation. The role involves development in both the application layer and the native parts of the Android stack, including Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) in C++. Together with UX/UI teams, partners, and other stakeholders, you will create well-thought-out end-to-end solutions. Testing takes place through both automated tests in a CI environment and manually in rigs and vehicles. As part of the R&D organization, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and innovative solutions. We're Looking for You Have solid experience in Android application development. Have at least 4 years of experience in software development in Java and/or Kotlin. Have a master's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent relevant experience. Have experience with AOSP and AOSP build system. Are familiar with modern architecture patterns such as MVP, MVVM, and Clean Architecture. Have experience working in a Linux environment. Have developed automated unit and/or integration tests in Java/Kotlin. Have experience working with Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins. Have experience in Automotive and Infotainment. Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. It's a Plus if You Have experience with Jira, Car Weaver, or Teamcenter, development in the native parts of the Android stack, and C++/HAL. Why DXC/Luxoft?
