It is analytical work where knowledge, timing, and priorities play a major role. As a senior analyst, you will be part of a team of qualified colleagues who develop knowledge materials of significance for the development of Swedish research and innovation policy, Vinnova's strategic priorities, and the development of new initiatives. You will work with policy development analysis, strategic technologies, technology convergence, international positioning, future areas of strength, and Sweden's opportunities in a rapidly changing global landscape. In this context, you will work with advanced analytical methods and method development. Examples of Work Tasks Lead qualified analytical processes Develop decision-making materials for management and operations Monitor international trends in technology, innovation, and policy Contribute to method development in strategic analysis Develop approaches where AI-based and data-driven methods are combined with expert knowledge, dialogue, foresight, policy analysis, and judgment Required Qualifications Multiple years of relevant work experience in qualified strategic analytical work. Experience leading complex analytical projects in cooperation with internal and external parties. Work experience collecting, evaluating, and quality-assuring both quantitative and qualitative data and integrating them into analyses. Experience formulating relevant analytical questions and presenting and visualizing analyses. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. We consider it particularly meritorious if you also have: Work experience with AI-based and data-driven analytical methods. Good experience with political processes and policy processes relevant to innovation, effective innovation systems, and innovation-based value creation in Sweden and internationally. Very good ability to formulate relevant analytical questions, structure complex problems and analyses into clear and decision-relevant conclusions. Very good ability to present and visualize analyses in a clear, pedagogical, and target-group-adapted manner. It is also meritorious if you have: Documented experience designing and conducting analytical projects that have been used as a basis for strategic priorities in a company, agency, or other organization. Good experience identifying, analyzing, and mapping international trends and significant changes in economics, society, innovation, sustainable development, and policy. Good experience in international analytical collaboration or analytical work in international organizations. Good knowledge of research, analysis, theories, methods, and evaluation relevant to understanding innovation, innovation systems, and innovation-based value creation.
