Kraftringen is now seeking a Senior Business Controller with a focus on operations management and business development. This is a role for someone who wants to continue developing in a senior position with significant impact, close to the business and leadership.
You will be a central financial partner to one or more business units and serve as a business-close support in matters concerning governance, value creation, financial priorities, and long-term development. The role involves close collaboration with the business area manager, where you have a strong mandate to influence, challenge, and set direction.

About the position
As a Senior Business Controller in operations management, you work to translate financial insights into concrete decisions and actions. The focus is not solely on the income statement, but significantly on the balance sheet, cash flow, capital utilization, and how various business decisions impact the business's long-term financial development.
You become an important advisor to decision-makers in the organization and are expected to contribute both analytical rigor and business judgment. This may include supporting the business with investment decisions, major change initiatives, operations development, and other strategically important decisions.
The role has a clear focus on how the balance sheet, cash flow, and capital utilization can be used to strengthen the business and create long-term value. A critical part of success in this role is your ability to build trust, develop relationships, and bring the organization along in change. You understand that value is not created in the analysis, but in the decisions and behaviors that the analysis leads to.
Responsibilities
• Act as a business-close financial partner to one or more business units.
• Analyze results, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational key metrics and use this to influence and manage the business.
• Challenge, support, and guide the business in economic and business decisions.
• Identify value drivers, risks, and opportunities related to profitability, capital utilization, and long-term development.
• Provide decision support for investments, change initiatives, and other business-critical decisions.
• Ensure that financial governance is translated into practical action in the business.
• Work closely with controlling, accounting, procurement, and other central functions.
Relevant background
We believe you have:
• Several years of experience in qualified controlling, finance business partnering, or senior financial management.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet, cash flow, capital utilization, and financial value drivers.
• Experience working close to operations, management, or business units.
• Ability to combine analysis with business judgment and clear communication.
• Experience creating structure, driving dialogue, and translating financial governance into concrete decisions.
• Academic education in economics, finance, or equivalent field.
Personal qualities
We're looking for someone with solid experience in qualified controlling, such as senior business controller, finance manager, head of finance, or another role with qualified responsibility for financial governance and business development.
You're comfortable working broadly with financial management and have a strong understanding of the connections between results, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational decisions. You thrive in a role where analysis doesn't stop at reporting, but is used to drive the business forward.
As a person, you are confident, business-minded, and trustworthy. You have integrity, dare to challenge, and can communicate complex financial relationships in a way that creates engagement and action. You don't need to have had people management responsibility, but you have experience influencing senior decision-makers and driving change through others.
