Ref: 20261975 We are now recruiting two new section managers for our care and support housing facilities Hylliepark and Fosieborg. At Fosieborg, you will work in a shared leadership arrangement with a fellow section manager colleague, while at Hylliepark you will have your own overarching responsibility for operations. As a section manager, you will also have the support of a full-time assistant who helps with staffing and other administrative tasks. Duties As a section manager, you are responsible for your part of the operations and share the overall leadership with a section manager colleague at the facility. You have joint responsibility for the whole, but each manage your own staff group and work teams. You will also be part of a management group together with other section managers in our care and support housing facilities. You are expected to actively contribute with your expertise, collaborate with other managers, and together with colleagues drive development, quality, and improvement work based on City of Malmö's goals and mandate. We are looking for you to provide present, clear, and operational leadership. Here you will have the opportunity to actively take responsibility for collaboration, work methods, and structure, as well as ensure that the mission is conducted according to established goals and frameworks. You work closely with both day and evening and night operations and create conditions for functioning whole-day operations. The role includes responsibility for staffing, work environment, rehabilitation processes, and competency development. You lead dialogues and contribute to creating a safe and professional work environment for employees. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: A relevant academic degree, minimum 180 hp At least 1 year of management experience Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Good digital skills The following experiences are merits: Completed management or leadership training Work experience related to care and support Documented experience of driving successful development projects Experience in digitalization and e-health We are looking for you to be confident in your leadership and who can motivate, create engagement, and provide employees with the right conditions to reach common goals. About the Workplace Fosieborg is located adjacent to a pleasant green outdoor environment with a shared garden. The facility's apartments are distributed across six units, of which four are dementia units. Fosieborg is a "star-marked" facility, which certifies that employees have received basic knowledge of dementia diseases and tools for person-centered work. Hylliepark is located in a scenic park area that invites walks and outdoor activities. All apartments are on ground level and have their own patio. We work with health promotion in all aspects of health – including the existential – so that each individual's faith and traditions continue to be a natural part of life. The facility consists of 34 apartments. We in the Health, Care and Support Administration, with approximately 5,500 employees, are the City of Malmö's second largest administration. We have overall responsibility for Malmö's home care, care facilities, meeting places, home health care, and rehabilitation.
