Are you an experienced leader who wants to drive the development of future military vehicle systems? We are now seeking a section chief for Vetronics – a key role with significant operational responsibility and major impact on technology, organization, and business. Your Role As section chief for Vetronics, you have overall responsibility for the development of electrical systems, electronics, and software for our vehicles. This is a third-line management role with broad operational scope and strategic influence. You lead a section of approximately 300 employees through four directly reporting unit managers and participate in Engineering's management group. You drive your own management team and are responsible for developing the organization, working methods, and delivery capability in line with business objectives. Your assignment includes: Ensuring the section delivers against project needs, timelines, costs, and quality Driving strategic and operational business development Responsibility for budget, resource planning, and capacity Managing risks and creating conditions for stable delivery Developing managers and leaders in the organization Contributing to Engineering's overall development and direction The role involves a balance between strategic decisions and operational execution in a complex and technology-intensive operation. You: Have documented experience leading through managers in larger organizations Have a strong holistic perspective and can translate strategy into concrete action Are experienced in driving change, improvement initiatives, and organizational development Have good technical understanding, preferably within systems, electronics, or software Are a clear communicator who creates engagement and direction Have the ability to build relationships and collaborations, both internally and externally You thrive in a role where you can balance strategic issues and operational leadership, and where you deliver results through structure, clarity, and trust.
