Ref: 20261419 Work Responsibilities Do you want to lead an operation that provides support and treatment to young people with mental health issues and complex support needs? Klivet is expanding its services and is therefore seeking an additional section manager. Klivet is an outpatient service for young people aged 13–21 years. The operation offers flexible and individually tailored interventions with the goal of promoting mental health, preventing placements, and reducing the risk of breakdown in ongoing placements. The work can also help shorten placement periods and facilitate the young person's return to a stable everyday life. As a section manager, you will lead the operation together with a section manager colleague and three coordinators. The operation consists of approximately 40 treatment staff with different competencies and experiences. Together, you are responsible for creating clarity, continuity, and good conditions for staff to carry out their duties. You are responsible for leading, allocating, developing, and following up on work within the section. The role includes personnel, budget, and work environment responsibilities. You work closely with your section manager colleague and the coordinators and contribute to joint management of the operation. An important part of the role is to ensure that the operation is conducted with high quality, legal certainty, and clear structure. You follow up on results, identify development needs, and drive improvement work together with staff and other functions within the operation. As a section manager, you are part of the unit's management group and actively contribute to development work within the unit, department, and administration. You also collaborate with other operations, authorities, and stakeholders that are important for the young people's comprehensive support. The role suits you if you want to combine present-focused leadership with strategic development work in an operation where needs can change quickly and where collaboration is a central part of the work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or other higher education that the employer considers relevant and equivalent for the role. You have: several years of experience working with vulnerable children and young people experience in leadership, management, or coordination strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, and guidelines in the field of operation very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is meritorious if you have: experience with personnel, budget, and work environment responsibilities management or leadership training or participation in a leadership development program experience with treatment work with children and young people experience with authority work in the field experience with quality and development work knowledge of IVO requirements for documentation, quality, and follow-up knowledge of MI, Connect, RePulse, low-affect approaches, or other relevant and evidence-based methods. As a leader, you are secure, stable, and clear, with the ability to create trust, engagement, and participation in a high-paced operation. You are a present and attentive leader who communicates clearly and inspires and guides your staff. You remain calm and act respectfully and constructively even in pressured situations and when conditions change rapidly. With a reflective and thoughtful approach, you make well-founded decisions where you weigh consequences and involve staff when appropriate. You have genuine engagement for people and are driven by creating good conditions both for your staff and for those the operation exists to serve. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. About the Workplace Klivet is an outpatient service focused on mental health for young people aged 13–21 years. The operation works with change management, individually tailored interventions, and flexible support based on each young person's needs and circumstances. Interventions may consist of treatment work, practical and social support, and coordination between the authorities, operations, and other contacts in the young person's network. The purpose is to promote good mental health, prevent placements, and prevent breakdowns in ongoing placements. The operation can also help shorten placement periods and support the young person's transition from institutional care to a more stable and independent life situation. Klivet is in a development and expansion phase. The operation is managed by two section managers (currently one) together with three coordinators and consists of approximately 40 treatment staff. As a section manager, you will have a central role in developing the operation's structure, quality, and working methods together with your manager colleague, the coordinators, and staff.
