Would you like to lead one of Malmö's largest meeting places? We are now seeking a section manager at Hylliebadet for a parental leave cover position. Hylliebadet is one of Malmö city's largest and most visited swimming facilities where people of all ages meet every day through exercise, club activities, swimming instruction, recreation and community. The operations are characterized by a fast pace, many contact points and an important social mission. Duties As a section manager, you are responsible for operations, personnel, working environment and finances within your area. At Hylliebadet, operations are conducted through shared leadership where two section managers together have overall responsibility for the facility and its development. In this role, you lead the operations together with employees and coordinators and work to create a safe, well-functioning and developing workplace for both employees and residents of Malmö. The assignment involves both handling daily operational work and, together with colleagues and employees, contributing to well-functioning and developing operations. The role includes planning, organizing and following up on operations as well as ensuring good quality, safety and service for residents of Malmö and club activities. The work involves many contact points and close collaboration both within your own operations and with other parts of the bathing and recreation unit. You will become part of the unit's management group where you work together to develop operations and create attractive and accessible meeting places for residents of Malmö. Qualifications We are looking for you who believe in present, clear and trust-based leadership. You have the ability to create engagement, participation and good collaboration while being confident in creating structure, following up on operations and ensuring that common working methods and safety routines are followed. You are a trustworthy leader with good collaboration skills and a genuine interest in people and operations. In this role, you need to be comfortable in operations-oriented daily work with sometimes high pace and many contact points. You are communicative, responsible and have the ability to make decisions, prioritize and create clarity and joy in work in your daily tasks. For the position, the following is required: Academic degree equivalent to 180 higher education credits or alternatively 8 years of work experience in a swimming facility that the employer can assess as equivalent. Experience in supervisory, coordinating or other leadership roles Experience working in a swimming facility, swimming hall, wellness or other public operations where safety, service and interaction have been central parts of the work. Good administrative and digital skills Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Category B driving license Swimming proficiency It is meritorious if you have: Pool manager certification or alternatively lifeguard training or other security-related training Experience collaborating with clubs, schools or other external actors Experience with budget responsibility or financial monitoring You will be notified if you have advanced in the process during week 34.
