The Position Offers We are seeking a new colleague for our positive logistics team at the Supply Department in Karlsborg. About the Unit The Supply Department is part of the Logistics Unit, whose mission is to deliver logistics support, primarily in material and supply provision as well as technical services to the units in Karlsborg garrison. Most of the staff are civilian employees, though there is also military personnel. The main work at the Supply Department involves carrying out orders/purchases, receiving, warehousing/inventory management, and packing/distribution of materials/supplies to operations within the Swedish Armed Forces. To support our material accounting and technical maintenance work, we use the digital systems SAP-PRIO and LIFT. All staff contribute to the workplace's development and improvement of work methods. The Emergency Organization is primarily responsible for warehousing military equipment. The section is responsible for distribution and return of materials to our unit customers and manages rental vehicles and certain motor services. Main Responsibilities As section chief, you have personnel responsibility for your section of approximately 13 employees. You are responsible for planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the section. You supervise personnel within a broad area of work with many contact points both within and outside the Logistics Unit. You work closely with the other section chiefs and management to enable efficient warehousing adapted to the Swedish Armed Forces' operations. We help and support each other at all levels, which means the work is physically varied and heavy lifting occurs. K 3 trains a ranger battalion and an intelligence battalion. The ranger battalion is a highly mobile unit that should be able to be first on site during an operation. The intelligence battalion provides intelligence by using advanced technology, personnel in the field, and unmanned aircraft systems (RPAS). At K 3 there is also the Swedish Armed Forces survival school and the Flight Unit, which is responsible for remote-controlled flight systems and military parachute service.
