We are now looking for a section manager for Children and Family Services Investigations in the West/Inner City area. Work Tasks
As a section manager, you are responsible for the social service's authority functions regarding children and young people. You lead the operations with a focus on quality, development, and sustainable results for the children and families we meet.
You are responsible for operations, finances, personnel, and working environment, and you actively work to create a safe, inclusive, and developmental workplace. Together with your senior social worker, you exercise a close and trust-based leadership where you support your employees in their daily work and utilize their competence and experience.
An important part of the assignment is to develop the operations and create long-term solutions based on the needs of children and families. You collaborate with both internal and external partners and contribute to creating participation, transparency, and good communication within the organization.
As a section manager, you are part of a management group together with four section manager colleagues, a planning secretary, and a unit manager. We work closely together and value collaboration, knowledge exchange, and shared responsibility.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
A degree in social work
Several years of experience in social work within authority functions
Management or leadership experience
Good knowledge of legislation and can make decisions based on applicable regulations
Worked with authority functions for children and young people and/or foster care
It is a merit if you have:
Leadership training
Experience in driving quality work
Experience collaborating with internal and external partners such as Region Skåne, schools, preschools
Good knowledge of administration and the ability to handle administrative systems related to the management position
Knowledge of MI, Signs of Safety, and ADBB
We are looking for someone who is a confident and present leader who builds relationships through trust, clarity, and commitment. You have the ability to create participation and motivation and to lead with focus on both the operations' goals and your employees' development.
You are structured, responsive, and communicative, and you have a talent for creating good collaborations. Even in pressured situations, you maintain calm, make well-founded assessments, and find constructive solutions.
About the Workplace
The Operations Area for Individuals and Families is divided into two departments with different assignments and focus areas: Services and Investigations. Within the Investigations department, approximately 550 employees currently work with investigations and follow-up of services aimed at both children and adults.
