We are now seeking a section manager for the labor market department and the unit for internships and labor market employment who wants to be part of developing the operations and lead a mission with great significance for both individuals and society. As a section manager, you will be part of the unit's management group alongside the unit manager, 5 section managers, and four planning secretaries. You are a first-line manager and are responsible for your section's operations, personnel, and budget. Initially, you will work with people employed under the BEA agreement, where typical tasks such as compensation, rehabilitation, and work environment management are included. In the section manager role, you have ultimate responsibility for ensuring that your operations maintain high quality, and you work proactively with change and development work to achieve operational and project goals. To succeed in your mission, in addition to close collaboration with other parts of the administration, you also need close cooperation with other public, private, and nonprofit partners. Qualifications To be considered for the position, you should have: A university or college degree with a behavioral science/social science focus, at least at the bachelor's level, or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent. Management experience where rehabilitation processes, compensation, and work environment issues have been part of your assignment. Management experience where personnel, operations, and budget responsibility have been part of your assignment. Good knowledge of the target group. At least three years of experience from the labor market policy field. Experience working in a politically governed organization. Swedish - the ability to communicate fluently in speech and writing. It is meriting if you have: Management or leadership training. Experience working operatively and broadly with HR matters and the BEA agreement. The assignment requires both independent work and a well-developed ability to create good collaborations and cooperation. You see yourself as a good collaboration partner and can combine your operational responsibility with working for the greater whole within both the unit and the labor market department. Furthermore, you are analytical and structured, with a good ability to prioritize, plan, and manage complex processes. You have a holistic perspective and can translate analysis into concrete actions that drive the operations forward. We also see that you are courageous and development-oriented. You dare to challenge existing methods, identify areas for improvement, and drive change with a focus on quality and results. As a person, you are confident in your role and have a good ability to build trust. You handle situations where different interests need to be balanced in a professional and trustworthy manner. The operations consist of six units: the Unit for Work and Studies 1, the Unit for Work and Studies 2, the Unit for Work and Studies for Youth, the Unit for Internships and Employer Cooperation, the Unit for Labor Market Employment and Work Training, and the Unit for Support and Administration.
