The Unit's Mission The Swedish Public Employment Service VO Coordinated Support, Gävleborg unit, comprises ten sections and consists of three physical workplaces in Bollnäs, Gävle, and Hudiksvall. We are now looking for an engaged and driven section manager who wants to help lead the operation forward. Our national mission involves providing job seekers and employers with support toward the overarching goals of shortening the time to sustainable employment and recruitment, and reducing incorrect payments and violations of the welfare systems. We work in close collaboration with municipalities, suppliers, and other actors. The Section Manager's Assignment and Responsibility Your assignment as section manager involves operational and personnel responsibility for approximately 20 employees. You are responsible for ensuring that the section's results match established goals and expectations. As section manager, you have an important assignment to create well-functioning work teams and together with your employees drive and develop the operation. You enable strong performance, high job satisfaction, and a good work environment by working in accordance with the Swedish Public Employment Service's leadership criteria. You promote a culture characterized by trust, openness, and security. Your work takes place in strong partnership within and outside your own section and in good collaboration with labor unions. You are part of the unit manager's management group and will jointly with them and the other section managers be responsible for the entire unit's results and development. More about working with us Basic Requirements for the Position Current experience in a leadership role (continuous assignment, project, work group) of at least 6 months within the Swedish Public Employment Service's operations. Or: Completed the Swedish Public Employment Service's preparatory management program Or: Current experience in management at a corresponding level with operational and personnel responsibility from another organization for at least 1 year Other Merits for the Position Experience leading in change, creating structures, and working with participation Experience in collaboration and cooperation with municipalities, associations, business, and other agencies Current experience in management within the public sector Current experience in public administration The State's Value Foundation guides us in our daily work.
