Discover a multifaceted assignment! About the role As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you see the big picture, create the right conditions, and act consciously in your daily work. You are the manager of Section 1 of the development unit at the Individual Tax Department. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 15 business developers, participate in the unit's management group, and report to the unit manager. Development activities encompass all forms of development, with and without IT. We work according to the SAFe framework, which aims to drive continuous improvements, transformation, and efficiency. At the Individual Tax Department, we will focus heavily on team-based working methods this fall, which will permeate your work as section manager. To succeed in the role, the ability to collaborate and cooperate both within the department and across departmental boundaries is very central. Our operations are in constant development and change. About you To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be responsive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In your work, good judgment and understanding of legal security and safety are important. You must also live up to our employee policy. In this role, you should: - have the ability to see the whole picture with focus on customer value - have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission - have the ability to act consciously in your daily work based on good self-awareness - be able to handle and analyze information flows, see connections, delimit and convey information - have the ability to communicate clearly and create a climate where we listen to each other You should also have: - university education of 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in a relevant field, or several years of current and relevant management experience acquired from a government agency - current and relevant work experience in leadership, coordination, or project management from a government agency It is desirable that you have several years of current and relevant work experience leading and driving business development and organizational change in close collaboration with IT. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant management experience from the Swedish Tax Agency. It is also desirable that you have current and relevant experience with agile working methods. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months. Within the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, with no limit on the number of extensions. Employment with us may entail placement in a security clearance category. A security vetting with register check under the security protection act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our work tasks in security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
