About the position As section manager for service development, you will lead a section that currently consists of three units. You manage the section's operations, report to the department manager, and sit on the department's management team. The position of section manager is being created due to our growth, which gives you the opportunity to influence how the new management team will develop. The job involves many contact points and you network both internally and externally to drive the business forward. You have a central role in our socially critical operations where we offer digital solutions for health, which gives healthcare staff better conditions and increases patient safety. About the section The Service Development section is responsible for developing and maintaining digital services within the department's area of responsibility. The section brings together expertise in service development and product management, and works closely with both users and technical teams to ensure that services meet real needs. The section is part of the Health, Care and Social Services department, which works to enable digital solutions that strengthen healthcare, social services and dental care. We contribute to the Swedish eHealth Agency's mission to drive the development of the national digital infrastructure. It is self-evident for you to take responsibility for both your own work and for decisions made. We are looking for someone who has: an academic degree in a relevant field of at least 180 credits (or 120 credits according to the previous system) at least 5 years of current experience in management with responsibility for operations, personnel and budget current experience of managing other managers very good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing It is advantageous for the position if you have: current experience of leading technical development work in health, care and social services or similar operations current experience of strategic development work in complex organizations current experience of agile working methods current experience of management in the public sector What do we offer?
