Help make society possible! About the job As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you oversee the whole picture, create the right conditions, and act intentionally in your daily work. You'll be the manager of Section 7 at Unit 2 of the Personal Taxation Division. You'll have personnel responsibility for 18-20 employees based in Karlstad, participate in the unit's management team, and report to the Unit Manager. The unit handles investigating and determining taxation of individuals, and investigating and determining employer contributions, withholding tax, individual information, and control information, disclosure of public documents, and when necessary, tax information via phone. You'll lead two teams with employees at the unit and hold operational responsibility for the work these teams perform; the work is primarily conducted digitally. Your base is Karlstad, but regular travel to other locations is part of the assignment. Our operations are in constant development and change. It's also desirable that you have current experience in taxation work at the Swedish Tax Agency. Good to know The position is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. At the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management appointments for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, without a limit on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment is made.
