The Technical Operations Section's area of responsibility includes rule development, licensing, supervision of maintenance organizations (Part-145, Part-CAO, and AUB), airworthiness organizations (Part-CAMO, Part-CAO, and NLO), and aircraft (EASA and national). We contribute to ongoing aviation safety work by: - inspecting organizations in Sweden, within the EU, and certain organizations outside the EU - conducting inspections for EASA of organizations outside the EU - participating in the EASA SAFA program with ramp inspections of aircraft - participating in rule development and standardization within EASA and national regulations - conducting inspections of all types of national manned aircraft - meeting with organizations and aircraft owners in supervisory work - providing guidance to organizations and individuals in Swedish aviation through industry meetings and ongoing dialogue The operations include many interesting challenges involving collaboration with various actors in the aviation sector, both nationally and internationally. The section currently consists of 18 employees. Your Leadership As manager, you are responsible for the Technical Operations Section within your Maritime and Aviation Department, and you actively work with personnel, budget, and workplace environment matters.
