Section Chief Application Operations IT OnePartnerGroup is now seeking an experienced and dedicated Section Chief for a long-term assignment at Transportstyrelsen in Örebro. As section chief, you will have a central role within the IT department where you are responsible for leading and developing the Application Operations section. You have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, economics, and work environment while contributing to the agency's continued development and digital delivery capabilities. The section consists of approximately 21 employees and, as needed, a number of consultants. The team members have expertise in systems technology, IT architecture, and IT operations management. The duties include full operational, budget, and personnel responsibility. The assignment involves ensuring stable and efficient application operations while developing the business based on future needs and requirements. The assignment primarily concerns the Application Operations section but may, as needed, also include other section chief assignments within the IT department. About the Position Lead, develop, and follow up on the section's operations. Ensure stable and efficient delivery within application operations. Drive business development and change management. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for resource planning and competency development within the section. Qualifications To be suitable for the assignment, you need to have: At least 3 years of experience in the past 5 years in personnel management within IT as a formal manager. At least 2 years of experience in the past 5 years in business development and change management. At least 2 years of experience in the past 5 years in budget responsibility and financial management. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. The required experience must be acquired through employment or consulting assignments. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have: At least 1 year of experience in the past 5 years of work within application operations. Additional Information Placement: Transportstyrelsen's premises in Örebro. Scope: Full-time (100%) with working hours weekdays 08.00-16.30. Remote work: Possibility of remote work up to two days per week by agreement with the responsible manager. Assignment period: Planned start December 1, 2026. The assignment runs at most until November 30, 2028. Security clearance: The assignment is classified for security. The final candidate will undergo security vetting with a registry check and sign a security protection agreement before the assignment starts. Interviews: Candidates who advance in the process will be interviewed during weeks 40-41. Other: The assignment follows the agency's working hours.
