Our Operations Clinical Neurophysiology is a specialty that performs examinations and analyses of nerves, muscles, spinal cord, and brain. Results from our examinations are used in healthcare to make correct diagnoses and/or to monitor progress during, for example, treatment. We have unique close collaboration and contact with neurophysiology clinics in the regions of Västmanland, Gävleborg, Dalarna, and Sörmland, and according to agreement, all neurophysiology examinations are interpreted and analyzed in Uppsala. This is possible through technical solutions for digital signal transmission as well as referrals and responses. The clinic also performs highly specialized examinations within epilepsy surgery, as well as advanced work in neurophysiology monitoring during neurosurgical and orthopedic operations. Clinical Neurophysiology is a specialty classified as medical service, which is why we are part of both the Neurology department and the Laboratory Medicine administration. Like other labs, we have our own referral and response system that receives referrals from Cosmic as well as from regional hospitals' neurophysiology units. Here, doctors, biomedical analysts, secretaries, and engineers work together without hierarchy. Everyone is needed for our mission to be accomplished in the best way. Simply a fantastic workplace! Your Assignment As a Section Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the section chief and department head. The work is highly varied and involves contacts with many functions at the hospital as well as at our regional hospitals. Examples of work tasks include: • Administrative coordinator for neurophysiology at regional hospitals • Subject matter specialist for the clinic's referral and response system • Participation in networks for Orders and Responses and Laboratory Medicine • Scheduling and management of the personnel system Heroma • Course administration • DocPlus main author • Financial administration • Meeting minutes from section management and APT • Travel bookings • HSA administration • Administration for the personnel tool 1177 • Orders and invoice handling in Agresso • Planning physician schedules • Administering the clinic's website in SharePoint Your Qualifications We see that you have post-secondary/vocational education in healthcare and social care or in administration. It is a merit if you have experience working in administration or basic education in economics. You express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English. You possess basic administrative competence and good computer skills. You have good knowledge of the patient record system Cosmic, Heroma, and the Office suite as well as other IT programs such as invoice management systems. It is important that you feel comfortable writing meeting minutes and that you can review and edit documents.
