Job Description At AFRY Advanced Automation in Västerås, we help our customers accelerate their digital transformation through modern SCADA solutions, industrial IT and smart information flows. Right now we are looking for an experienced SCADA engineer who wants to be part of developing next generation solutions based on AVEVA System Platform. With us you get to work on technology-intensive projects where automation, digitalization and business development come together to create more efficient, sustainable and data-driven facilities. We are in an expansive phase with several strategically important projects within industry, energy, water and infrastructure. Therefore we are looking for you who want to be involved from early concept studies to completed operational solutions and who are motivated by solving complex technical challenges together with some of the industry's leading specialists. Your Role; Where Industrial IT Meets Automation As a senior SCADA and digitalization engineer you will become a key person in our deliveries within AVEVA System Platform. You work with design, configuration, development and implementation of modern SCADA solutions that help our customers gain better control over their processes and maximize the value of their data. The role offers a combination of technical specialist work, customer dialogue and project work. You get the opportunity to influence technical decisions, contribute to the development of our offering and work closely with both automation engineers, systems developers and business specialists. You will work with, among other things Development and configuration of AVEVA System Platform Design and implementation of SCADA and HMI solutions Integration between OT, IT and IoT systems Data modeling, database management and information structures System design for industrial digitalization Testing, verification and commissioning Technical advice and close collaboration with customers Further development of internal working methods, tools and processes Knowledge sharing and technical support within the team Qualifications To succeed in this role we believe you are a self-driven person with good experience working and performing in project-based teams. When faced with complex technical problems we believe you have a solution-oriented approach, and beyond that you recognize yourself in the requirements below: • Experience with AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware) • Experience with IoT and OT • Relevant engineering education in Data, IT, Systems Science or equivalent • B-class driver's license as travel may occur in the role. • Can communicate very well in both Swedish and English.
