Nature Protection Administration announces a competition for Līgatne Nature Trail Wild Animal Caretaker position at Vidzeme Regional Administration's Līgatne Nature Trails (indefinite term (full-time)) Requirements for candidates: Practical knowledge and experience in wild animal care provision; Understanding of wild animal welfare principles and safe interaction with wild animals; Willingness to acquire new knowledge and improve professional skills; Ability to independently organize your work and collaborate in a team; · High sense of responsibility, accuracy and diligence in task execution; Positive attitude toward the work to be performed; Ability to perform physically active outdoor work in various weather conditions; State language knowledge at the highest level; Category B driver's license and driving skills. Main duties: Care for and feed wild animals; Prepare and provide appropriate food for wild animals, following established feeding requirements; Maintain and monitor wild animal habitats; Ensure compliance with wild animal welfare requirements and implement necessary measures to ensure them; Observe and record information about wild animal condition, behavior and care processes; Comply with occupational health, biosafety and institutional internal regulations.
