We are a small team of about 35 employees during winter, working closely together across departments with short decision-making processes.
Operations Manager
As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for keeping the lifts running, maintaining them, and ensuring everything functions properly at the facility. You serve as a jack-of-all-trades and support other departments throughout the day. You should have experience with lifts, be handy, service-minded, and a problem solver.
Desirable qualifications include lift mechanic certification, fall protection training, slope grooming machine certification, and experience in facilities maintenance or workshop work.

The Facility Today
Fjätervålen is located at 1,002 m above sea level and is a ski resort in northern Dalarna, approximately 20 km northeast of Idre. The ski resort is privately owned and employs about 35 staff during peak season. The slopes are FIS-classified in both GS and SL for international competitions. There are four lifts, eighteen runs, and a cottage village with 250 cabins. The longest run is 3 km long with a vertical drop of 317 meters. The area also features 4.8 miles of beautiful cross-country ski trails, a ski shop/rental/workshop, cabin booking service, local convenience store, parking areas, ski school, and a restaurant.
