Decontamination Technician at OKG in Oskarshamn

Now we are looking for several committed decontamination technicians to join our team at OKG in Oskarshamn. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure work environment within one of Sweden's most important industries while developing yourself in a varied and responsible role.
About the Role
As a decontamination technician at ISS at OKG, you will be an important part of the operation responsible for maintaining a safe and well-functioning work environment within nuclear operations. Work is performed primarily in controlled areas and involves practical and physical work in varying environments, sometimes at heights or in confined spaces. You will work in O1/O2 which is in the decommissioning phase and/or in O3 which is in operation.
Your main tasks will be to:
Perform decontamination and decontamination of equipment, components, and facilities
Work according to applicable safety, protection, and radiation protection regulations
Perform simple maintenance and service tasks within the facility
Contribute to order, cleanliness, and continuous improvements in the operation
Collaborate with other functions and professional groups on site
This is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. Work is scheduled during daytime and is based at OKG in Oskarshamn.

Requirements
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Good physical fitness as the work is physically demanding
Ability to follow instructions and work according to safety regulations
Meritorious
Experience with decontamination work or similar tasks
Experience from industrial operations
Experience from nuclear operations
Traverse certification (KIKA)
§7 Radiation Protection
Forklift certification
Lift training
Fall protection training or other relevant safety training
