Location: Kalmar Start: Within one month Assignment length: Fixed-term employment 6 months, with good opportunities for extension Working hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00 About the remediation technician role As a remediation technician at OCAB, you work to restore environments after, for example, fire, water, and mold damage. You meet people in vulnerable situations and contribute with both your expertise and customer service skills to create security and solutions. The work is practical and varied and is carried out according to applicable regulations and instructions. Examples of work tasks: Remediation after fire, water, and mold damage Graffiti remediation and work with nicotine and oil damage Specialized remediation of various kinds Personal property handling and cleaning services Work related to property emergency services when needed Use of equipment, protective equipment, and digital tools Who are we looking for? We're looking for you who are driven, responsible, and enjoy physical work where no two days are the same. You are flexible, good at collaboration, and comfortable meeting customers in different situations. Requirements for the position High school education or equivalent work experience Ability to use personal protective equipment and aids Good Swedish, spoken and written Basic digital skills Class B driver's license You also have a willingness to develop and learn new work tasks, as some assignments require training and certification.
