About Us Rosengren & Nilsson Group was founded in 2021 through the merger of two well-established metal foundries: Rosengrens Metallgjuteri (founded 1909) and Vetlanda Gjuteri (founded 2001). Together, we combine more than a century of craftsmanship tradition with modern expertise in metal casting. At our foundry in Vetlanda, we work with everything from industrial companies and workshops to municipalities, construction firms, and golf courses. We manufacture technical components, signs, and specialized parts in bronze and aluminum, often in small series or as unique custom orders. The work is characterized by precision, craftsmanship, and great variety. About the Position We are now seeking an experienced and meticulous sand mold maker for our foundry in Vetlanda. You will work with the production and processing of sand molds for casting in bronze and aluminum. The role is hands-on and requires a good understanding of molding, materials, and work processes in a foundry. Since many of our projects are customer-customized and vary in execution, we are looking for someone who thrives in craftwork where quality and precision are paramount. Your Responsibilities Produce sand molds for casting in bronze and aluminum. Process and adjust molds to ensure proper fit and quality. Prepare molds for casting. Participate in the casting process as needed. Work closely with other production colleagues. Follow procedures for quality, safety, and work environment. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has Experience in sand molding within foundry work or similar operations. Good craftsmanship skills and a feel for accuracy and precision. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Practical hands-on skills and a responsible work approach. Experience in metal casting is a merit but not required.
