About the operation
Vansbro Health Center is located in the beautiful Västerdalarna region, with wonderful seasons where ski trails, mountain bike trails, and open water intersect. We have approximately 6,500 registered patients. You will be part of a team that includes a psychologist, mental health care coordinator, pediatric nurses, midwives, nursing assistants, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinator, and general practitioners. The health center also has an assessment unit in collaboration with ambulance services that evaluates and treats patients on-site.
Job Responsibilities
This is an opportunity for you who are interested in working with people in a small work team in primary care and in close collaboration with other interdisciplinary professional groups. We offer advice and support, assessment and treatment for mild to moderate mental health issues including depression, anxiety, stress, pain, sleep problems, and crisis reactions in adults. As a staff member at the health center, you will conduct assessments of mental health and work with psychological treatments that, following assessment and agreement, can be provided individually, in groups, or through internet-based treatment programs. The work is stimulating with great opportunities for variety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and development work.
Qualifications
Requirements:
You must have an academic basic education such as social worker, nurse, or similar, as well as CBT stage 1.
Have an interest in the primary care perspective where both quality and accessibility are in focus.
Meritorious if you have previously worked in primary care.
