Coordinator, Mentor and Instructor (Vocational Swedish/Health and Care) - Landskrona Folkhögskolor Landskrona Folkhögskolor (a collaboration between Tora Vega Folkhögskola and Östra Grevie folkhögskola) Do you want to be part of building a new program that makes a real difference? Landskrona Folkhögskolor is seeking an engaged and development-oriented coordinator, mentor and instructor for our new language and vocational preparatory program and labor market initiative within health and care. The program/labor market initiative starts in fall 2026 and aims to give participants with limited Swedish language skills the opportunity to develop toward work or further studies in the health and care sector. The activities are carried out in close collaboration with the City of Landskrona and other partners. About Us Landskrona Folkhögskolor was established in spring 2026 through a collaboration between Sweden's oldest folk high school, Tora Vega Folkhögskola, and Sweden's largest folk high school, Östra Grevie folkhögskola. In newly renovated facilities in central Landskrona, we offer a General Course, Social Pedagogy Program, Study Motivation Folk High School Course (SMF), and various educational and labor market initiatives. We combine high pedagogical quality with individual focus and strong community engagement. About the Position This is a broad and varied role where you take overall responsibility for participants' development and for the practical implementation of the program. You will be a key person in the operation and work closely with participants, colleagues, employers and partners. The position combines coordination, mentoring, instruction and workplace collaboration. You will be an important part of creating an educational program that leads to work or continued studies. Responsibilities You will, among other things: coordinate and develop the daily activities of the program serve as a mentor and instructor for participants and follow their individual development plan, implement and evaluate instruction teach Swedish as a second language, vocational Swedish and work-oriented content based on your expertise integrate language development throughout all parts of the program plan study visits, guest lectures and practice-oriented activities collaborate with the Swedish Public Employment Service, the City of Landskrona, health and care organizations and other partners work with documentation, follow-up and quality assurance contribute to the ongoing development of the operation and program together with school leadership. We Are Looking for Someone Who has a pedagogical university degree or other education that the employer deems equivalent has experience teaching in adult education, folk high school, SFI or Swedish as a second language. Experience with health care programs is an asset. has experience working with people far from the job market or in an establishment process has experience with motivation-building work and motivating instruction, and the ability to inspire, engage and support participants toward studies, work and personal development has good ability to create structure, build trusting relationships and create a safe and inclusive learning environment is experienced in working independently, taking responsibility and collaborating with colleagues and external partners has a strong commitment to folk education, integration, labor market issues and people's opportunities to grow through education. Great weight will be given to personal suitability, pedagogical leadership, collaboration ability and the ability to build good relationships with participants, colleagues and external partners. Merits It is an asset if you: are a vocational instructor in health and care and/or have experience or good knowledge of the health and care field have experience with project management or educational coordination have experience collaborating with municipalities, the Swedish Public Employment Service or employers have experience from folk high school or other adult education.
