1 position(s). Welcome to the Children and Family Division! At the Children and Family Division of Falun Municipality, we believe that a sustainable working life is an important foundation for doing really good work – especially when the child's best interests are always in focus. For us, this means taking care of each other, creating a good work environment, and promoting a good balance between work and private life. With ethics, care, and professionalism as our foundation, we work together to provide children, young people, and families with the right support. The Children and Family Division consists of several operations with different mandates and expertise: reception, children and youth, resources and family law, the open care unit Dialogen, the HVB activity BUBO, the supported housing UBO, and our youth support workers. This gives us good opportunities for collaboration and a broad perspective in our work with children and young people. As a coordinator for SSPF, you will be part of a team with six youth support workers and a unit manager. With us, collaboration, diversity, and respect for different experiences and backgrounds are a natural part of everyday life. You will also have close contact with the reception unit, where you will be part of a group with eight case handlers and a group leader. Duties The position of SSPF coordinator (school, social services, police, and leisure) is relatively new in Falun Municipality and is organized together with the youth support workers and the reception unit for Children and Family. You will work with all relevant parts within the Children and Family Division as well as with relevant collaboration partners. The purpose of SSPF is to prevent young people from becoming involved in crime and/or substance abuse by increasing opportunities for early detection and providing the young person and their family with coordinated support. SSPF is a structured working method where collaboration takes place between social services, school, police, and leisure. Individual plans for the child or young person are established and followed up. The working model is voluntary and is based on guardians consenting to information being shared between the different SSPF actors. As an SSPF coordinator, you will have a central role in coordinating and holding the work together. You are the hub connecting school, social services, police, and leisure – both in work concerning the individual child or young person and in collaboration at a more overarching level. You coordinate interventions, create structure, and ensure that relevant actors work together toward common goals. You provide support and motivation to young people who are part of SSPF and work closely with the child or young person and their family. At the same time, you build and develop relationships with schools, police, leisure activities, associations, and other relevant collaboration partners. The work aims to identify needs early, create participation, and ensure that the right support and interventions are put in place before problems become too large. The work is primarily operational and individual-focused, but also requires you to be able to see the whole picture and contribute to developing SSPF work in the municipality. Qualifications The role requires: · Bachelor's degree in social work, criminology, or behavioral science, or another academic education that the employer considers appropriate and relevant for the position · Experience with strategic work, project management, or business development · Experience with authority exercise or other qualified work with children and young people · Experience collaborating with different actors and leading meetings · Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing · B-level driver's license Personal qualities As a person, you find it easy to create good collaboration with both internal and external parties. You are excellent at building relationships and creating trust, and you have the ability to get other operations and authorities on board by respecting their different mandates and conditions. You are proactive and self-reliant and enjoy driving your own processes from idea to implementation. You can identify what needs to be done, create structure, and drive the work forward even when the path is not obvious. You also have the ability to see opportunities within the framework of the laws, guidelines, and conditions that need to be followed. You have the ability to shift between a strategic and an operational perspective and can see both the big picture and the individual child's or young person's needs. You are confident in taking initiative, creating engagement, and influencing others even when you do not have a formal mandate. As a person, you independently seek out and identify important factors and what is needed for the operation and its continued development. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Meritorious qualifications · Experience meeting and building trust with people from different backgrounds and conditions · Experience working with children and young people, preferably in at-risk situations · Experience with SSPF or similar structured collaboration forms Terms of employment Permanent employment with start date by agreement. Please attach educational certificates to your application as they will be requested if you become a candidate for the position. Alternatively, certificates are provided at the interview. To be employed, you must provide an extract from the criminal record, which will be requested if employment becomes relevant. Please order this at the same time as your application so it is available if you become a candidate for the position. You order the extract directly from the police website. Other information Falun Municipality uses competency-based recruitment methodology. To ensure an inclusive and fair recruitment process, work tests and occupational psychological tests may be applied. When you submit your application, you will answer selection questions based on the requirements for the position. Your answers are an important part of the initial selection, so make sure to answer thoroughly and clearly.
