In Hörby municipality, we are developing social services with a focus on being more preventive, accessible, and close to our residents. We are now seeking a coordinating social worker who wants to play a central role in this work. The position is located within the Reception unit of the Children and Family Authority Unit. Here you will combine operational social work with coordination and operations development. You will be an important link between social services and other activities that meet children, young people, and families. Hörby is a municipality where the distance between idea and decision is short. WORK TASKS This is not a traditional social worker position. The assignment combines preventive and outreach work with a coordination responsibility for the Reception unit's daily operations, corresponding to a lead social worker role. You will coordinate and develop the municipality's preventive work together with, among others, schools, preschools, family centers, open care, recreational activities, the municipality's crime prevention team, and police. An important part of the work is to create sustainable contact points between operations and contribute to children, young people, and families receiving support at an early stage. The assignment includes: coordinating and developing preventive work based on the new social services legislation working in an outreach and relationship-building manner in different operations and environments participating in and leading collaboration forums identifying needs and initiating, driving, and following up projects and development initiatives supporting and guiding social workers in the Reception unit's daily work contributing to structure, quality, methodology development, and uniform handling in the Reception working at individual, group, and community level following up results and contributing to development work taking sustainable and long-term forms. The work involves great variety. You need to be able to move between strategic planning, operational work, and concrete support to colleagues. Since the operation should be accessible outside regular office hours, the position includes daytime, evening, and weekend work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: a degree in social work several years of experience with authority functions in social services experience in preventive social work experience collaborating with schools, preschools, and other external actors experience leading or actively participating in project and development work good knowledge of social services legislation B-class driver's license. It is meritorious if you have experience with: management, methodology support, or other coordinating assignments work with authority functions concerning children, young people, and families SSPF or similar collaboration forms crime prevention work project management, change management, or operations development. To succeed in this assignment, you need to be confident in your professional role and be able to provide support and guidance to others. You take initiative, drive processes forward, and create structure even when several matters need to be handled simultaneously. You find it easy to build and maintain trusting relationships and can bring different operations together around common goals. The assignment requires that you can switch between a strategic overall perspective and close, operational work. You are responsive and collaboration-oriented, while also having the ability to make decisions, create engagement, and drive the work forward. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
