We are now recruiting a coordinating dietitian. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date January 11, 2027. We are seeking a licensed dietitian with interest in prevention, public health, and operations development. As a coordinating dietitian, you will have a central role in developing preventive nutrition work in primary care and contributing to the transition toward Good and Accessible Care. The assignment requires strong collaboration skills, a strategic perspective, and experience in translating knowledge into practical operations development. As a coordinating dietitian, you will have a strategic assignment to develop, coordinate, and strengthen preventive nutrition work in primary care. You will work across the region with knowledge-based governance, implementation, and development of approaches that contribute to more equitable health and a transition toward Good and Accessible Care. The assignment includes close collaboration with child health services, maternal health services, municipalities, and other actors within the public health field in primary care. The assignment does not involve personnel responsibility but places high demands on coordination skills, leadership through influence, and the ability to translate knowledge into practical operations development. Duties Strategic development of nutrition and prevention work within primary care Implementation of national knowledge supports and guidelines Coordination and support to operations and professions Collaboration with the region, municipalities, and other actors Monitoring, analysis, and improvement work Education and knowledge dissemination in nutrition and lifestyle habits Qualifications We are seeking someone who Is a licensed dietitian Has at least 3 years of work experience as a licensed dietitian Has experience leading or coordinating development and implementation work Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Has a B-level driver's license as travel within the region occurs Has good digital skills and experience working in digital meeting and collaboration environments It is advantageous if you Have a master's degree in nutrition, public health, health sciences, or equivalent Have education in improvement work, implementation science, or change management Have worked with lifestyle habits, nutrition, and prevention Have work experience in motivational interviewing (MI) Have experience in project management Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities Pedagogical insight Structured Holistic perspective Relationship-building Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the operations that are most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
