Funäsdalen Preschool is seeking a South Sámi-speaking preschool teacher or a Sámi speaker with other pedagogical experience.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Sámi-speaking preschool teacher are to work in accordance with the preschool curriculum LpFö. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and documenting Sámi activities and, together with the work team, implement Sámi activities for children ages 1-5 years, where language is prioritized. The role also includes being a good role model for children and colleagues, having a good understanding of the equal value of all people, which we call a trustworthy approach.
The position is advertised as 100%, but the scope can be adjusted based on the applicant's needs.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of the South Sámi language and preschool teacher certification, or alternatively with experience in the profession. You must have strong knowledge of the South Sámi language. You should be comfortable taking personal responsibility and be a good role model, and be attentive to children's expressed wishes. You should be a present educator who is easy to collaborate with different people and always keep focus on your mission with the children. For this position, providing an extract from the police crime registry is a requirement for employment.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
