Through physical planning and strategic community development, we create conditions for sustainable living environments, attractive housing, and a growing business sector. We are now looking for a community planner/planning architect who wants to be part of shaping the municipality's development. With us, you get to work closely with colleagues, citizens, and decision-makers, which gives you the opportunity to follow the planning process all the way from idea to implementation. Your Assignment As a community planner/planning architect, you work with physical planning and strategic development of the municipality. You work with detailed plans and planning matters and cooperate with both internal and external stakeholders to create long-term sustainable solutions. The assignment includes, among other things: lead and drive detailed plans through the entire planning process in accordance with the Planning and Building Act (PBL) develop, analyze, and quality assure planning documents and investigations cooperate with authorities, consultants, developers, politicians, and citizens participate in and drive development projects within, for example, housing development, infrastructure, and rural development contribute to the municipality's long-term community planning The work tasks can be adapted based on your experience and competence. Your Competence and Experience Requirements University education in physical planning, community planning, planning architecture, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Several years of experience working with community planning. Good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBL). Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing. Meritorious Experience in municipal planning work. Experience working in a politically governed organization. Experience in project management or development projects.
